Bad-Ass Bat Muffins

I had a Halloween party planned for his year and a lot of ideas of what I wanted to prepare for it. After this plan had changed spontaneously, I was invited to a Halloween party at a dear colleague's house and chose these bat muffins from all my ideas as my contribution to the finger food buffet.
Mine are not as cute as the original ones with mini muffins and huuuuge eyes , but they also look a bit halloweenig and nasty, as it should be!

Ingredients for 12 bats:
Muffins: dough for the Very First Chocolate Muffins:
70 g melted butter or neutral oil
210 ml milk
1 egg
1 tsp vinegar
200 g sugar
300 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
80 g cocoa
75 g chocolate

Bat Wings: dough for Entry Cookies :
250 g flour
20 g cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
100g caster sugar
1 egg
125 g margarine or butter

Decoration:
200 g whipping cream
200 g dark chocolate
20 g white chocolate

24 chocolate coffee beans for the ears
24 sugar hearts for teeth

Energy:  390 kcal per bat

For the muffins, grease a muffin tin or line it with paper forms. Mix the liquid ingredients together, mix the dry ingredients, mix the two together, stir for about 1 minute and fill it into the muffin tin with a spatula or tablespoon. Bake at 170° C for 20 minutes, test with a skewer.

For the wings, knead the ingredients for the dough, roll out the dough and cut out cookies,
Bake the cookies at 175°C for 12 minutes.

Once the cookies are in the oven, boil the cream and dissolve the dark chocolate in it, refrigerate the resulting ganache (luckily, we had snow on the balcony). Carve the muffins sideways with a knife and plug a wing into each side.

Cover the cupcakes with ganache, fix two coffee beans as ears and two candy hearts as teeth in the ganache, use the melted white chocolate to pipe round eyes and add pupils with a dot of ganache

From the rest of the cookie dough, I baked round sandwich cookies and filled them with the remaining ganache and white chocolate - but not until the day after the party ;-)
