Since I didn't have a loaf pan, I had the idea of using 3 smallish wooden baskets (they had come to me from my organic delivery service, containing 500 g of mushrooms each) for baking and mix three different ingredients into the bread - pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and olives/para nuts.

3 Kinds of 3-Minute-Bread in Wooden Baskets
Baking bread without the tedium of letting it rise and waiting around until it's ready comes in very handy for people in a hurry!

Gingerbreadhouse-House with Windows
I think the Gingerbreadhouse-House is a great present for people who are in the process of building a house - that is, a gingerbread house that looks like the house that is always on the builder's mind! Obviously that can be very complex depending on the house in question, the one that I baked was rather easy. That the plans were printed out for me in scale obviously helped a lot!
Gingerbread Dough for Gingerbread Hearts and Gingerbread Houses
Since I referred once already to my gingerbread dough out of the fridge and will do so again for the next post, here goes the recipe! Thus far I have used the dough mainly for big gingerbread hearts, gingerbread houses or Christmas cookies in normal cookie cutter size. As mentioned before, the dough can be kept in the fridge for several weeks and even gets better during that time, as the potassium matures and makes the gingerbread rise better. Thus, it is awesomely practical to have some of the dough in store!
Cinnamon Apple Cake
This cake was introduced to me by my friend Timo, who in the 10 years that we've known each other never mentioned once that he can actually bake cakes!
My boyfriend loved it and I had him make one himself for his father's birthday, with only a little help from me...so there it is! Stephan's very first cake!
I'll share the recipe with you since everybody loved it and thought it should go on the blog.

Elderflower Mousse
My dear colleague Christian got me these cute little Amuse-Bouche-cups as a surprise. Obviously, I had to make it up to him with at least some of them in status "filled"!
Since I still had some elderflower syrup at home which I'd made myself (I'll write down the recipe when there are elder flowers to be picked again), I thought it was a very nice dessert for the beginning of spring or what at least feels like it... :-)
